My journey into the world of numbers began long before I stepped into a corporate office. As a multi-generational Coloradan with family roots that run deep in these mountains, my career actually started during my high school summers working as an arcade supervisor. I found a strange kind of satisfaction in the rhythm of the 'weekly drop'—counting game numbers, matching entries, and reconciling every single coin in the bin. It was my first real taste of accounts receivable, and I was hooked on the clarity that comes from perfectly balanced books.

That early passion for precision evolved into a career dedicated to financial integrity and customer advocacy. I have spent years "standing guard" over the finances of others, including:

• Fortune 500 Giants: Working within some of the world’s largest corporations, I learned to navigate complex financial landscapes while never losing sight of the person behind the numbers.

• Public Service: I served two Colorado municipalities, addressing citizen needs in accounts receivable and ensuring public funds were handled with the transparency they deserve.

• Fraud Prevention & Security: My time in the banking and telecommunications sectors was spent on the front lines of fraud detection. I’ve verified thousands of applications—from small consumer goods to high-stakes student loans—developing a "detective’s eye" for financial discrepancies.

I chose the Bristlecone pine as my symbol because it represents longevity and the ability to thrive in the most challenging conditions. Drawing on my formal accounting studies and decades of diverse real-world experience, I am now applying that depth of knowledge to help local businesses grow deep roots and build a lasting foundation.
